About the trainer:
Rami Issa hails from Latakia, born in 1982, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing) from Latakia University, 2007. He began playing basketball in 1994 at Hutteen Club and later played professionally for Al-Ittihad (Aleppo) and Al-Karama, winning the Syrian Basketball League. He founded Syria’s largest private basketball school, securing sponsorships for the sport. Issa represented Syria in several tournaments and moved to Qatar in 2012, playing for Al-Arabi in 3×3 basketball, finishing third in the Qatari league in 2019 and 2020. He also worked in human resources, launched entrepreneurial projects including the “Intilaq” recruitment network, and provided marketing consulting for companies in Syria, Turkey, and Qatar. He was ranked the #1 Syrian 3×3 basketball player in 2020 by FIBA and retired at the age of 29.
