In a new milestone added to the record of young Syrian sports professionals, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has selected Rami Yousef to serve as Technical Delegate for the period 2025–2029. This prestigious position is granted to individuals with proven expertise and the ability to manage tournaments in accordance with the highest global standards of organization and governance. This appointment reflects FIBA’s confidence in Rami, who previously held the position of Executive Director of the Syrian Basketball Federation and demonstrated remarkable administrative performance over the past years. His professional journey recently expanded with his appointment as Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports in basketball affairs, as part of ongoing efforts to develop the sport locally and enhance its regional and international presence.
