The difference between fasting (ṣawm), abstinence (ṣiyām), and the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr).

The difference between fasting (ṣawm), abstinence (ṣiyām), and the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr).

Fasting (Shifting the Energy Source)
It is not merely abstaining from food; it is a “factory reset” for the body. It is a process of separating awareness from material, earthly nourishment to force the cells to draw their energy from the “etheric source.”
It is the clearing of cellular memory from programs of need and attachment to matter.

Fasting (Withholding Frequency)
It is the “stability of the point” within consciousness.
It is the complete cessation of sending frequencies outward (thoughts, words, judgments, reactions). Fasting creates an “energetic void” in the throat and heart to concentrate light inward instead of leaking it into collective noise.

The Fast of Zachariah (Silencing Logic)
It is the enforced suspension of the analytical mind that sees obstacles (“I am old,” “my wife is barren”). It is the silence of the tongue and inner dialogue so the mind stops repeating the “story of incapacity,” allowing the miracle to manifest in the void created by that silence.

The Fast of Mary (Protecting Manifestation)
It is “energetic isolation” during new birth. When you carry a new “idea,” “project,” or “awareness,” observe Mary’s fast from the collective.
Do not justify or defend, because argument lowers your frequency. Mary’s fast is letting the “light of manifestation” speak for itself.

The Month of Ramadan (The Gate of Burning and Emergence)
The month is not a date on the calendar, but a “state of clarity and energetic prominence.” It is the timing when light is available for penetration.
Ramadan comes from “ramad,” meaning burning. It is a state of “melting karma” and old programs through friction with light.
It is the “vibrational gateway” in which your constraints dissolve so you may receive the “descent” of your new sovereign version.
That is why there is the Night of Decree, when the descent occurs.
And your own Night of Decree—you know it—it is better than a thousand months (renown).
In it, the angels and the Spirit descend.
It is a moment of peace until the break of dawn (the explosion).

“True fasting is exiting the matrix of need and entering the sufficiency of the Source.”

Ramadan Kareem.
