Skincare Between Science and Practical Application

Skincare Between Science and Practical Application

Skincare is no longer just a cosmetic routine; it has become a science based on a deep understanding of skin structure and its different needs depending on age, skin type, and environmental factors.

In my work as a skincare specialist, I see every day that many skin issues are not caused only by external factors, but also by the misuse of products or a lack of proper understanding of skin needs. Therefore, the first step in any successful treatment plan is an accurate diagnosis of the skin type and the main underlying issue.

Oily skin is completely different from dry or sensitive skin, and each type has specific needs that must be respected when selecting products or designing a daily routine. Overusing products or applying unsuitable formulations can often lead to opposite results.

Today’s science provides a deeper understanding of product ingredients and how they affect the skin, which makes the role of the specialist or pharmacist extremely important in guiding clients toward the right choices.

I believe that true beauty starts with healthy skin, and any successful aesthetic plan must be based on scientific principles rather than trends or external appearance alone.
